The Moonlight Sentinel has undergone one of the most transformative reworks in L2 Rework — to the point of feeling almost like a new class. Why? Because although archers were always popular, they were never among the strongest classes in the game. Compared to the Sagittarius, the Moonlight Sentinel was chosen less often for two key reasons: it had good attack speed and acceptable damage, but suffered from the shortest shooting range among archers and lower overall damage.

That is now history.

Just like the Sagittarius, the Moonlight Sentinel has been given unique tools to stand out among archers and become extremely dangerous once an enemy enters its range.

⚔️ Fundamental Changes

Flash Trap: added to all archers, but especially lethal in the hands of the Moonlight Sentinel. In PvP, when activated, it puts the enemy in shock for 5 seconds and removes Deflect Arrow, leaving them exposed to projectiles.

Exclusive Pet: the Moonlight Sentinel now commands a white Baby Cougar, which evolves into a Moon Cougar as it levels up. This is the most offensive pet among archers, becoming an additional threat in combat. The Moon Cougar also possesses Stun Attack, making it even more dangerous when fighting alongside its master.

Repositioning: a shared archer skill that allows the Moonlight Sentinel to become invisible for 3 seconds and gain movement speed. Perfect for escaping skirmishes, repositioning, or surprising the enemy.

❄️ Ultimate Skill

Ice Arrow: the Moonlight Sentinel fires a frozen arrow that immobilizes enemies. First, it reduces their Attack Speed, Casting Speed, and Speed by 50% for 5 seconds, and then completely paralyzes them for an additional 7 seconds. This skill also removes Deflect Arrow, meaning even tanks become vulnerable while the effect lasts.

With these changes, the Moonlight Sentinel stops being a simple fast archer and becomes a frozen predator — a master of control and precision. Now it is not only quick, but also the archer with the greatest control potential, capable of immobilizing, weakening, and destroying enemies with the help of its lethal companion, the Moon Cougar.

A class with its own identity, specializing in absolute battlefield control and becoming a nightmare for any rival with weak defenses.
